A solar car park revolution: The Reengineer Monitor #25
Heat pump metrics, solar geoengineering - and more!

Hello everyone! This is just a quick note to say that I am taking an early Summer break next week and the week after. However, I am working on some really interesting stuff and The Reengineer will be back in your inboxes starting 29th May. See you again then!
Heating and cooling
A really interesting new study reports the performance of roughly 1,000 heat pumps installed in Central Europe. The authors write: “We find that 17% of air-source and 2% of ground-source heat pumps do not meet existing efficiency standards. Additionally, around 10% of systems are oversized, while approximately 1% are undersized.”
