First up, I’d like to flag two of my stories that were published elsewhere last week. For Wired, I wrote about district cooling systems that harness nearby lakes and rivers as heat sinks. One important example of this is in Paris. The network there is due to more than double in size during the next 20 years. And, for BBC News, I covered efforts to electrify steel production in the US.
